This the one of the best tours to discover Turkish life, nature over Taurus Mountains and history.
On route visiting the lake of the Karacaören Dam and enjoy the nature surrounding. After having refreshment visiting the ancient ruins of Sagalossos which are situated not very farfrom the town ofAgiasun in the province of Burdur and the ancient city lies on Mount Akdag, a spur of the Western Touros range at an altitude oli 600 meters. Than in the town visit an old Ottoman Mosque surrounding with cherry trees. On the way back visiting the second largest known cave of the world called Insuyu. There are millions of stalactites and stalagmites as well as nine pools in the cave which is almost 600 meters long and visited by the diabetics.
Sagalasos
The archeological site of Sagalassos is located in the southwest Turkey, near the present town of Ağlasun( Burdur province ); roughly 115 km to the north of Antalya. Large-scale excavations started in 1990.Most of the buildings in Sagalassos are from Hellenistic and Roman periods
Insuyu Cave
The most appealing feature of Burdur is Insuyu, the second largest cave of the world. It is 12 kilometers from Burdur. There are millions of stalactites and stalagmites as well as nine pools in the cave which is 597 m long and it is good for wandering in little boats. Since the water in the cave is curing for diabetes it is widely visited by diabetics
